Jia-Yi-Bing ('alpha-beta-gamma') is a series of three robots that I created. Jia ('alpha') was originally created as a gift for a friend. Reluctant to give away the new robot, I cloned Jia to make Yi ('beta'). Eventually a third copy, Bing ('gamma'), was constructed as a dancing partner for Yi. The design was improvised and constructed from junk electronic components.
