Prototype: Morse codeDate of completion: 06/2007
This prototype was created for the project "Secret under my skin". The purpose of this prototype is to further explore the technology of intrabody communition (see Prototype: Intrabody communication) by using it to send Morse code. The idea (credit goes to Valerie Bugmann) is that when a person wearing a transmitter touches another person who is wearing a receiver (both tuned to the same frequency), the receiver can detect that physical contact was made. By varying the length of time in which contact is made we can have different lengths of 'on' signals. We can specify the lengths to be short or long and thereby allowing Morse code to be sent from one person to another by tapping on the skin.
