Les Cloches de MalinesDate of completion: 12/2000

The aim of this animation was to apply music and its theories in visual terms, allowing computer graphics to express in time without using the methods of animation/film (therefore no cameras, no characters, no lighting, no drama, and no reality based imagery). Instead, musical elements such as rhythm, consonance/dissonance, thematic development, and musical forms are used visually. I worked with the piano piece by Francis Poulenc as I was creating the animation, trying to visually create the mood of the music. Created using OpenGL with C programming.
