Step InstallationDate of completion: 05/2002
The animation "Step" was installed in a gallery. A sheet of paper was suspended in the air and the animation was projected on to it, resulting in the the illusion of a 'floating' screen. A computer was generating the animation continuously and viewers could come in to watch it for as long as they like. I wanted the animation removed from the computer monitor and exists in a physical space.
