The theme of traffic and streets is an exploration of contemporary human interaction through reoccuring patterns of structured random activities. The process of this animation was to program a visual structure and then allow the computer to modify it with random numbers. The idea was to create an animation where there is no narrative (no beginning, middle, and end) and having it generating continuously. I am interested in creating a dynamic visual structure where there is enough randomness to allow variations, but also having constraints to create reoccurring patterns.
